12 October 2008 - Warsaw Philharmonic

"I listened with great pleasure to these young artists, to whom the passion of playing and making music together cause a genuine joy. An emotional approach to music combined with Conductor Antoni Wit's experience and precision meant that we can foresee a great future for this young, already extraordinary ensemble. Maestro Jerzy Semkow, the orchestra's creator and its patron, was a witness of this first success. The audience's ovation for the young musicians after the concert was in this case well-deserved.

"The life of a musician in Poland is not a bed of roses. After years of arduous learning, a change of profession often comes because no one wants to employ him or her. Sinfonia Iuventus is an initiative which will at least partly help young musicians to start a real career. It is worth to support this project."
