The Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra is an orchestra for the most talented graduates of all music schools in Poland. Our goal is to give each musician the opportunity to make his or her artistic debut. We ensure continuing professional education with outstanding artistic experts.
06 March 2009 - Warsaw; The Witold Lutoslawski Concert Studio of Polish Radio
The concert conducted by Evgeny Volynskiy (Scheherazade)
"The temperament of these young musicians had an extremely refreshing effect and without hesitation one could agree with the textbook truism preaching the greatness and inventiveness of Rimsky-Korsakow's instrumentation. While listening to this performance with bated breath, there is a desire to make it last as long as possible. All the mixtures of sound led to new colors, imitating the roar of waves and wind, already expressing the Oriental mood. All the rhymes and dancing allusions intrigued with movement, every phrase could be sung without breathlessness, and the pace of the whole - and its diversity - gave course to the narration and riveted the audience's attention. In the second movement of Suity, the clarinet deluded; in the third - fabulous atmosphere, and finally in the fourth, when the atmosphere and nature changed at every moment from enthusiastic dances to great dramas, Sinfonia Iuventus showed that is an ensemble of virtuosos, nay - an orchestra which can create its own, unique sound and play exceptionally harmoniously."

"The musicians gave the greatest joy to the audience while playing Scheherazade. (...) Together with young musicians it created an unforgettable interpretation of this "hit". Soft, transparent sound, lots of emotions and joy emanated from this work. The orchestra perfectly conveyed any nuance of the composition: impetuous rhythm, dramatic nature, tension, and dynamic range by providing a tight performance throbbing with energy."
